DESCRIPTION:CanWaCH is hosting our virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) and we hope to see you there!\nDate: Tuesday\, November 23\, 2021 \nTime: 1:00 – 2:30 PM EST \nOver the past year\, COVID-19 has continued to disrupt and set back women\, children and adolescents’ ability to realize their rights to health and wellbeing. The global pandemic has cast a spotlight on the depth and breadth of global health inequalities making it visible how human rights are severely impeded by an intersection of factors including gender\, race\, wealth\, ability and geography. \nYet\, in this changed and uncertain environment\, we have continued to rely on one another by sharing knowledge and resources to address new but common challenges. \nCanWaCH invites you to join us for our upcoming AGM for the opportunity to network with sector colleagues\, join in the business meeting* and hear from Dr. Alaa Murabit\, award-winning medical doctor\, women’s rights advocate and United Nations High-Level Commissioner on Health\, Employment & Economic Growth. \nREGISTER HERE FOR THE AGM \n*Please note that only active CanWaCH member organizations have voting rights at the AGM.
