SUMMARY:First International Symposium on Responsible Practices in Managing International Projects with the Global South
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to invite you to participate in an exceptional event designed to redefine the contours of international project management: a conference dedicated to the responsible management of international projects\, with a special focus on relationships with the Global South. This initiative is fully aligned with the dynamics of valuing the multiple perspectives of Others\, emphasizing pluriversal practices often sidelined\, with the aim of establishing a more inclusive justice. \nOur ambition is to dive deep into the contextual specifics essential for teams engaged in the implementation of international projects. We propose to explore the unique challenges faced by stakeholders and to highlight innovative practices that promote co-creation and the valorization of indigenous knowledge within the framework of public development aid (PDA). \nAt the heart of our conference\, the goal is bold: it is to question certainties\, dismantle cognitive biases\, and re-evaluate practices rooted in a universalist vision of project management. By sharing a diversity of perspectives\, we aspire not only to enrich the body of knowledge but also to encourage the adoption of hybrid practices\, enriched by cultural and intellectual diversity. \nEngaging in a dialogic and collaborative approach\, our conference will place special emphasis on responsibility\, sustainability\, and the decolonization of knowledge. \nWe aim to make this space a breeding ground for new research collaborations and innovative practices. The academic community\, professionals in international project management\, representatives of public bodies and NGOs\, as well as the next generation of students\, will find fertile ground to transcend disciplinary barriers and develop innovative expertise\, valuable in the fields of project management\, management\, and social innovation. \nJoin us to contribute to a pioneering approach aimed at enriching\, renewing\, and revolutionizing the practices of international project management from a resolutely pluriversal and inclusive perspective. Your presence and participation will be crucial for the success of this conference and for the promotion of the values we seek to uphold. \nClick here to register!
