Organization Description:

Colour of Poverty – Colour of Change (COP-COC) is an Ontario-wide network building strategies, tools, initiatives and community-based capacity for racial justice change-making. Engaging in mutual aid we help individuals, groups and organisations ( especially those reflective of racialized communities – both Indigenous Peoples and peoples of colour ) we work to develop shared action plans, including creating coordinated strategies for collaborating with mainstream policy analysts and institutions, anti-poverty and social justice advocacy groups, governments, funders, the media and others – to best work together to address and redress ever more disturbing and growing structural and systemic ethno-racial inequality.
