DESCRIPTION:March 7 – 10\, 2024 | Virtual and In-Person\nCUGH’s annual conference is a must attend event on the global health calendar. Over 2\,000 scientists\, students and implementers from academia\, NGOs\, government and the private sector will present\, learn and collaborate to address some of the pressing challenges our world faces. A wide range of medical and non-medical disciplines are represented throughout the in-person pre-conference satellite sessions (free to attend\, register online) and the March 7-10th conference. DESCRIPTION:Global Health at a Crossroads: Equity\, Climate Change and Microbial Threats\nIn Conjunction With: The World Health Summit Regional Meeting 2023 & The AAHCI Global Innovation Forum 2023\nWashington Hilton\, Washington DC\nApril 14-16\, 2023\nIn-person Satellite Sessions: April 13\, 2023\nVirtual Satellite Sessions: April 3-7\, 2023\nJoin colleagues from around the world at CUGH2023. This will be our first in-person conference since 2019 and it will be a unique and exciting event. Our program includes an outstanding list of sessions\, addressing a wide variety of contemporary global health\, environmental and development challenges\, delivered in an interactive environment. A superb array of speakers from across disciplines and around the world will be in attendance. We will have 230 speakers\, 50 sessions\, 8 plenaries\, 560 abstracts\, the Great Debate\, keynotes\, awards\, networking events\, the Pulitzer Film Festival\, Communications Workshop\, student focussed sessions\, a Satellite Day\, and more. \nAlso\, two important academic organizations will hold their annual meetings at CUGH 2023. Register separately for the April 13\, M8 Alliance of Academic Health Centres\, Universities\, and National Academies’ World Health Summit Regional Meeting\, which will address ways we can improve research\, education\, healthcare\, and policy outcomes. \nThe Association of Academic Health Centers International (AAHCI) will hold its annual Global Innovation Forum (CLOSED) also on April 13 at CUGH 2023. Its members\, who are from academic health centers in the US and around the world\, will meet to discuss ways we can improve health and well-being worldwide by strengthening health professions education\, research\, and patient care. \nAttend CUGH 2023 and let’s build the partnerships we need to address the global health\, development\, and environmental challenges before us! \nRegister for the World Health Summit Regional Meeting and get a discounted rate for CUGH 2023.
