The objective of the project is to assess the contribution of the deployment of digital health tools (connected patient records, digital tablets, digital health reporting systems) and telemedicine (smart glasses) on the continuity and quality of health services in Mali. This research project operates in a post-pandemic context characterized by the presence of multiple multifactor crises (political, security, environmental) and poverty.

Support for an expanded network of some twenty community health centres (15 CSCom and 5 university-based centres (CSCom-U)) and five district hospitals in five regions of Mali (Bamako, Sikasso, Ségou, Kayes and Koulikoro), to assess their level of adoption of the digital health tools deployed as part of the SanDi project.
Support for central institutions (Ministry of Health, National Agency for Telehealth and Medical Informatics-ANTIM) to strengthen the approaches used in the deployment of digital health projects. Recommendations will be issued based on the assessment of the adoption of digital health technologies in the various health facilities.
Support for the various evaluation and research mandates enabling the participation of students and Malian partners.
