What is ThriveHire?
ThriveHire is an online platform for the global health community.
The ThriveHire Files is your go-to destination for commentary on hot topics in global health, career and job search advice, best practices and lessons learned from practitioners, and more!
History of ThriveHire
Launched in 2018, ThriveHire was founded by Canadian Hayley Mundeva. After receiving her Masters in Global Health, Hayley worked for several years in global health research in Tanzania, Malawi and Ethiopia. During this time, she was troubled by the lack of information on how to launch and develop a career in global health. The solution? ThriveHire.
ThriveHire was built with the support of Annalise Mathers, numerous contributing authors, and partner organizations including the Canadian Red Cross, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, the World Bank’s Global Financing Facility, the United Nations Association in Canada, CUSO International, and Partners in Health Canada.
Today, Hayley works as a communications specialist in Rwanda where she continues to explore new ways to help organizations convey their global health stories effectively.
