DESCRIPTION:Building on the regional report “Powerful yet Overlooked: African Women with Disabilities and the Ongoing Struggle for Inclusion\, 30 Years after Beijing”\, our event will highlight the persistent gaps in the inclusion\, participation and protection of the rights of women with disabilities\, despite international and regional commitments. By sharing the experiences of women with disabilities in all their diversity\, and giving the floor to UN and other policy makers\, we will map out a stronger commitment to inclusion and diversity at global\, regional and national levels over the next 5 years.
