Eradicating Hunger, and Building Resilience in the Sahel Region

May 28 @ 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

The Sahel region is one of the most structurally vulnerable and food insecure regions in Africa. In 2018, WFP and partners launched an innovative programme – the Sahel Integrated Resilience Programme – to help individuals, communities, and governments tap into their potential and boost their resilience across five countries: Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, and Niger.

The World Food Programme in Ottawa invites you to visit its FREE, interactive, multimedia exhibit detailing how WFP’s integrated resilience programming is transforming livelihoods in Africa’s Sahelian region. You will also have a chance to connect with WFP staff members present on-site to answer any questions. Hope to see you there!

REGISTRATION: FREE, no registration required.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 28th, 2024. 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

WHERE: 350 Albert Street, Ottawa K1R 7Y6. Constitution Square Lobby

Note that the exhibit is available in English only.
