CanWaCH Members work every day to ensure that women, children and adolescents around the world are able to realize their right to thrive in full health. Representing a diversity of organizations, academics, and health professionals across Canada, the CanWaCH Membership forms a strong Canada-wide network that brings considerable value to the work of CanWaCH. In exchange, Members have opportunities to increase collaboration, strengthen capacity, and exchange knowledge.

To become a Member of CanWaCH, please complete the following form and follow the link to submit your payment. A CanWaCH staff member will follow up with you in the near future with details to submit your Member fee payment.

 In the meantime, feel free to subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date with current sector news and activities and to contact our staff if seeking to partner on a specific activity.

Membership Criteria

Before you begin the application, please ensure that you have met all of the criteria for CanWaCH membership. Please reach out to [email protected] should you have any questions about your eligibility.

The Organization:

• Is based, and has an operational presence, in Canada, with Canadian-based staff
• Conducts programming, policy development, research, or advocacy work either within Canada or abroad in the field of women’s and children’s health
• Is engaged in global health efforts related to women’s and children’s health, including sexual and reproductive health rights, adolescent health, and maternal, newborn and child health in low or middle income countries or humanitarian or fragile contexts
• Works according to principles of achieving gender equality, supporting gender equity, realizing human rights, and eliminating all forms of discrimination
• Is willing to provide and share programmatic information with CanWaCH to improve evidence-informed programming and amplify advocacy for women and children’s health within the sector
• Adheres to CanWaCH mission and bylaws
• Will pay annual membership fee in full, as determined by the CanWaCH Board of Directors and ratified by members*.
