Twinning of health professionals associations

Since 2009, CAM / ACSF has been working closely with the Association of Midwifery Nurses of Haiti (AISFH) to support a long-term plan to strengthen the country’s midwifery profession. By supporting the three pillars of midwifery education, regulation and association, CAM / ACSF and AISFH are working together to create a stronger workforce in Haiti that is better able to control and reduce high maternal and neonatal mortality rates. A unique link has been formed between AISFH and CAM / ACSF over these many years, growing together in knowledge and expertise.
