PROJECT OVERVIEW
Cuso International is planning to implement the Dev Trade Collaboration Initiative for Tanzania, funded by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). The initiative aims to increase networking opportunities and collaboration between at least 15 Canadian private sector companies in Tanzania, with over 20 NGOs and other training organizations active in the country. Cuso will organize four networking events for private sector companies and NGOs, and a trade/development nexus marketplace event. The consultant will serve as a lead event organizer, partnership facilitator, and engagement coordinator, supporting the planning and execution of four networking events for private sector companies at the Canadian High Commission or at the High Commissioner’s and finally a larger Dev Trade Marketplace event between February and March 2026 as the culmination of the project to highlight shared priorities, exchange best practices, and identify opportunities to collaborate in support of both development objectives and commercial outcomes
SCOPE OF WORK
The Consultant will be responsible for coordinating stakeholders, facilitating networking events, leading communication efforts, and preparing event documentation and reports. The consultant will work closely with Cuso’s Partnership and Program Development team and the Canadian High Commission in Tanzania.
