The Pan-Canadian Women’s Health Coalition Grand Rounds spotlight Hubs that are transforming women’s health research and practice across Canada.

Through dynamic, one-hour lunch and learns, monthly sessions will spotlight innovative work and spark dialogue across the Coalition.

Watch recordings of the sessions below:

Alliance against Violence and Adversity (AVA) Women’s & Girls’ Health Hub

In this first session, Alliance against Violence and Adversity (AVA) Women’s & Girls’ Health Hub takes the stage. AVA is revolutionizing health care for girls, women, and gender-diverse people affected by adversity and family violence, including gender-based violence.

Join us to learn how AVA engages people with lived experiences, builds strong partnerships, scales up knowledge mobilization and develops innovative models for delivering trainings.  A discussion of AVA’s approaches will explore how these insights can be applied across sectors or inspire new collaborations.

The Sexual Health and Genito-Pelvic Pain Knowledge Empowerment Hub (SHAPE)

Co-production in practice. Hear how the Sexual Health and Genito-Pelvic Pain Knowledge Empowerment (SHAPE) Hub brings together patients, clinicians, researchers, and NGOs to advance sexual health research and care.

The Healthy Pregnancy Hub

The Healthy Pregnancy Hub brings together expert-reviewed, easy-to-understand content to help expectant parents make informed decisions about medication use. With a focus on accessibility, inclusion, and cultural relevance, the Hub supports healthier pregnancies by empowering individuals with the knowledge they need to confidently work with their health care providers.

The Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance: Women’s Cardiovascular Health Hub

This session explores how meaningful engagement with People with Lived Experience (PWLE) and community partners can strengthen equity, trust, and impact in women’s cardiovascular health. Drawing on the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance (CWHHA) model and collaborative initiatives such as CROWNING US, participants will reflect on what works, where gaps remain, and how to move toward more inclusive, culturally responsive collaboration.

Knowledge mobilization through co-creation: The GEM Hub

The GEM Hub is a community-driven network bringing together people with lived experience, health-care providers, researchers and policy-makers from across Canada. Grounded in relationships, shared learning and creativity, members work alongside each other to shape research and knowledge mobilization focused on improving pregnancy and post-pregnancy care. For this Grand Rounds, we are excited to share insights and progress on co-creation work within the Hub. The session will feature practical examples ranging from visual resources to clinical algorithms and tools, as well as new methodologies and processes.
