Conversations with Canadians About Global Health During COVID-19

This week is #WorldHealthWorkerWeek! From midwives to doctors, frontline health workers are the backbone of every health system. We’re celebrating health workers this week with a series of videos commending their heroic efforts in keeping us safe and healthy. Register for the RADAR Measurement Tool Training Series
Together with Johns Hopkins University, CanWaCH is pleased to be hosting a free 4-part online training series on select RADAR measurement tools. These tools have been developed as part of the Government of Canada’s initiative to improve accountability for its maternal and child health investments. Space is limited, so register early!
Call for Nominations: CanWaCH’s Public Engagement Working Group
Join CanWaCH’s Public Engagement Working Group (PEWG) to help build awareness of Canadian leadership in global health and gender equality! Submit your nomination by 5:00 pm EDT on Friday, April 10, 2020. If you have any questions, please contact Lauren Murray, Senior Public Engagement Officer.
CanWaCH is also excited to announce that we are recruiting two youth delegates (18-24 years old) to participate on the PEWG! With a unique perspective as young leaders, these delegates will provide valuable insights and feedback for how CanWaCH and its members can better engage Canadian youth in our work. Submit your application by 5:00 pm EDT on Friday, April 10, 2020.

CanWaCH’s Stakeholder Engagement and Policy Working Group (SEPWG) has also launched its call for nominations. SEPWG members inform and advise Canadian stakeholders about global health and gender equality! Submit your nomination by 5:00 pm EDT on Friday, April 10, 2020.
