The deadline to submit nominations for the second annual CanWaCH Awards for Canadian Excellence in Global Women and Children’s Health is now January 25, 2019. These prestigious honours will be bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated significant contribution towards Canada’s advancement of global health for women and children in the following five categories: Leadership, Gender Equality, Measuring Impact, Young Leader and Partnership. International Development Week: February 3-9, 2019
Join us for a special International Development Week event on February 5, 2019, from 12:00 – 5:00 pm at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa that will interactively showcase to visitors how Canadians are making a difference around the world. Women Deliver 2019 Mobilization Canada: Upcoming Legacies Webinar
Winter has been busy for Women Deliver 2019 Mobilization Canada with the Women Deliver 2019 Conference less than 5 months away! December saw the launched of the first set of legacies (outcomes) that Mobilizers want to see come out of Canada’s hosting of the Conference in relation to gender-based violence. PMNCH Partners’ Forum Roundup
CanWaCH was pleased to attend the PMNCH Partners’ Forum in New Delhi in December 2018. During the forum, the Canadian High Commission hosted an event for SheDecides India in partnership with CanWaCH and CREA, the local host of SheDecides India. It was an exciting opportunity to demonstrate how growing political and social momentum is promoting the rights of women and girls to many of the 1200 global leaders that attended the Forum. Cuso International: Advancing Women’s Rights in Myanmar
Cuso International shares the story of a run-down colonial-style wooden building in the city of Dawei that is hiding something special.
