Three new distinguished members added to CanWaCH’s Board of Directors

The Canadian Partnership for Women’s and Children’s Health (CanWaCH) is pleased to welcome additional expertise from Partners in Health Canada, UNICEF Canada and CARE Canada to its prominent Board of Directors.

Mark Brender, National Director, Partners in Health Canada; Rowena Pinto, Chief Program Officer, UNICEF Canada and Barbara Grantham, President and CEO, CARE Canada were elected as members of the Board at CanWaCH’s Annual General Meeting on November 24, 2020.

Julia Anderson, CanWaCH’s Executive Director, said the new directors bring even more strength to a Board that is comprised of some of the most preeminent Canadian leaders in the international development sector.

“Having met Rowena, Barbara and Mark, they each bring a unique blend of skills and experience to the table and I am thrilled that they are joining the CanWaCH Board. They will be great contributors as we work together to advance the health and rights of women and children around the world” said Julia.
