CanWaCH’s gender equality training

CanWaCH is excited to present the next offering of our virtual gender equality training sessions!

Training objective: 

This training aims to build the confidence and capacity of the CanWaCH membership in delivering gender transformative health programming. It is designed for non-gender equality technical experts who want to learn how to integrate gender transformative approaches into their work. 

Participants will do this through three modules:

• Concepts and terminology
• Elements of gender transformative programming
• Gender based analysis and monitoring and evaluation 

 Approach and duration: 

• Delivered virtually, this training takes a participatory approach. Sessions will feature opportunities for discussion and workshopping. 
• This training will be delivered across five sessions. The first session will be held on Monday, March 24.  See the full schedule below.

Dates and times: 

• Day 1: Monday, March 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EDT
• Day 2: Tuesday, March 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EDT
• Day 3: Thursday, March 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EDT
• Day 4: Monday, March 31st from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EDT
• Day 5: Wednesday, April 2nd from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EDT

*Please note that this is the English offering of our gender equality training. Space is limited to 25 participants. At this time, only 2 people per organization can register.
