Closing the Global Gap in Women’s Health: Canada’s Leadership in R&D and Innovation

FIND, CEPI and Unitaid, in partnership with Results Canada, are hosting a roundtable to discuss Canada’s leadership in global health R&D, focusing on its impact on women’s health, especially in the context of current infectious diseases and emerging pandemic threats.

The session will highlight opportunities for Canada to enhance its impact through targeted financial investments and policy commitments supporting women’s health, universal health coverage, and pandemic preparedness.

Additionally, the event will showcase how global health initiatives collaborate to build equitable and resilient health systems, in alignment with the Lusaka Agenda, and maximize the effectiveness of Canadian investments.
