Delivering Lifesaving Nutrition and Lasting Impact

This webinar will present the key findings and recommendations from the Delivering Lifesaving Nutrition Report, the outcome of a pivotal, two-day Nutrition Retreat convened in Ottawa in the Fall of 2025. The retreat was convened by Action Against Hunger Canada (ACF) and the Canadian Partnership for Women and Children’s Health (CanWaCH), bringing together leaders from government, civil society, academia, philanthropy, and communities worldwide to identify practical, evidence-based recommendations for Canada’s and all global nutrition leaders’ roles in addressing the global hunger crisis.
Key recommendations to be discussed include the importance of:
- Strengthening prevention alongside treatment of acute malnutrition.
- Investing in strong nutrition data and early warning systems.
- Integrating nutrition across humanitarian and development nexus.
- Supporting resilient national systems and local leadership.
- Increasing predictable, flexible, multi-year nutrition financing.
There will be a Q&A session following the panel.
The webinar will be in English with simultaneous translation into French. Other languages could be provided depending on the interest.
