Gender-Based Violence Risk Mitigation in Humanitarian and Development Programs
September 21 @ 7:00 am - September 23 @ 10:00 am
Action Against Hunger is committed to integrating a gender-transformative approach into all of our programming, and to reducing gender inequality and mitigating gender-based violence at all levels. This training supports our fundamental goal to advance gender equality and will equip participants to meet key priorities of the International Strategic Plan 2021-2025.
This GBV Risk Mitigation training, facilitated by Action Against Hunger’s International Gender Unit, is designed for programming professionals who would like to learn more about GBV core concepts and how to mainstream GBV risk mitigation measures across the program cycle. The three-day training will be offered in four sessions available in English, French, and Spanish.
The training includes three hours of live facilitated sessions per day as well as pre- and post-training activities. Participants will be expected to complete up to one hour of independent offline coursework per day.
