Ethan Grooby (Postdoctoral Fellow, Wiens Lab) will present on the Development of At-Home Physiological Signal and Vital Sign Monitoring System for Identification of Illness in Children after Hospitalisation: Opportunities in Wearable Technologies.

About the Research Group:

This work is from the Wiens Lab, led by Matthew Wiens. His research has centered on developing tools to identify children at highest risk of post-discharge mortality and implementing the “Smart Discharges” approach, which combines risk-guided follow-up care with caregiver counselling and education. His work includes extensive experience conducting research and implementation work in East Africa.
