How communication can prevent gender-based violence

Join us during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence for an insightful panel discussion that will be exploring how dialogue, storytelling and strategic communication create change, transforming behaviour, and strengthening communities in Africa.
When it comes to addressing issues of gender-based violence at scale and globally, one of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal is communication and dialogue. From it comes the power to change minds, change behaviour and build community.
During the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we invite you to join Farm Radio International, Women in Law and Development in Africa (WILDAF), MaiKhanda Trust, and Ghana’s Gender Studies & Human Rights Documentation Centre for a conversation about how the power of communication can address gender-based violence. These lively panelists will pull from their experiences in Burkina Faso, Mali, Malawi, Ghana, and from across Africa, about how they are using communication tools to build a better world for women and girls.
