On August 12th, 2022, the 1st IDEAS for Gender Equality Community Building Event will be held in beautiful downtown Toronto, Ontario (in-person as well as virtually).
To begin, a panel discussion will spotlight Multi-stakeholder Partnerships that have taken bold steps to promote gender equality through inclusion, diversity, equity and access solutions. Following the panel, participants will engage in collaborative solution-building (The #IDEAS4GE Innovation Challenge) to advance the full participation of women (in all their diversity) in the workplace, marketplace, and communities across Canada.
The #IDEAS4GE Innovation Challenge will build on panel insights and the lived experiences of participants from diverse stakeholder groups to accelerate gender equality in leadership, on boards, in trades, STEM, and entrepreneurial endeavours.
Join stakeholders from small/medium enterprises, big businesses, labour and trade associations, civil society, non-profit organizations, and government at all levels who share your commitment to promoting understanding and valuing the important contributions made by all women to the economy and quality of life for all Canadians.
Together we can build a nation that is inclusive, values diversity, and promotes equity and access for all women – one community at a time.
