Webinar: Addressing NTDs for the Health of Women and Adolescent Girls

February 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

CAGH is collaborating with the Canadian Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (CNNTD) for International Development Week 2022 to host a webinar addressing the impact of NTD on the health of women and adolescent girls.

Did you know that more than 500 million adolescent girls and women of reproductive age (including over 100 million pregnant and lactating women) are at risk of morbidity caused by worm infections, especially soil-transmitted helminth and schistosome infections?

Join us and our speakers to learn more about the Kigali Declaration, WHO’s NTD road map, and WHO’s new deworming guidelines: set to launch in early February 2022 to promote regular deworming treatment for adolescent girls and women of reproductive age.
