Are you an organized, client-centred individual, with some accounting experience, who loves to make a difference in the world? The Accounts Payable & Gifts Administrator is an integral part of both the Finance and Philanthropy teams and works in close collaboration with members of both teams across all offices in Canada and Africa. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Senior Manager Philanthropy, the incumbent is responsible for weekly and monthly processing of payment requests and gifts received, coordinating, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations. This position will be the first point of contact for external vendors and donors and will be responsible for reviewing incoming payment requests for accuracy and processing payments. They will also be responsible for ensuring incoming gifts are recorded to the appropriate fund and maintaining concordance between the Accounting and Fundraising databases.
