Digital Community Coordinator

Reporting to the Digital Content Services Manager, the Digital Community Coordinator is responsible for supporting the digital marketing team with the coordination of content, growing online presence as well as tracking and delivery of key integrated marketing programs and projects that support various Children Believe stakeholders. The role will lead the day-to-day administration for the department and effectively communicate Children Believe’s brand narrative, maximizing awareness and driving revenue.

This role includes, but not limited to:

1. Digital content 

  • Write and develop creative content for websites and social-media properties
  • Take active role in growing Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram

2. Digital web presence

  • Support updates for SEO, accessibility and quality control
  • Research and update web copy, as needed
  • Join in testing site functionality, style and optimization

3. Digital marketing

  • Lead the deployment of marketing emails, including working with multiple lists
  • Support digital campaigns through from ideation to implementation to tracking

4. Budgeting and reporting

  • Work with finance to ensure vendors are paid on-time (purchase order and invoice processing)
  • Create expense requisitions and track invoicing, as needed

The ideal candidate possesses: 

  • Post-secondary education in journalism, communications or related experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with proven experience supporting the delivery and success marketing programs 
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office 
  • Knowledge of digital ad marketing, CMS systems, Google Analytics and other Google tracking properties 
  • Knowledge of social-media marketing, including organic and paid
  • Design experience with Photoshop, InDesign and/or Canva is preferred
  • Highly collaborative team player, able to forge strong partnerships across the organization
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, if required
  • Demonstrates commitment to Children Believe’s vision, mission and values
