Digital Media/Communications Officer

Canadian Foodgrains Bank is a partnership of 15 Canadian churches and church-based agencies working together to respond to global hunger.  We are recruiting for a Digital Media/Communications Officer to join our communications team. 

Under the direction of the communications manager, the digital media/communications officer will generate content for, implement and administer digital and social media communications plans to promote a positive external image and solicit support for the Foodgrains Bank, manage our digital assets, and maintain and update website content.

The successful candidate will bring a combination of relevant education and experience in digital and social media, strong writing and editing skills, familiarity with relevant software, and strong attention to detail. Staff in this position must identify with and support the Christian motivation and mission of the organization. Familiarity with international relief and development work and the Canadian farm sector are assets. English language fluency is required for success in this role.

This position is ideally based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but alternate locations will be considered.
