SOS Children’s Villages Canada is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Digital and Social Engagement Specialist with 3-5 years of progressive communications experience, specializing in engaging and growing audiences through digital and social channels. This is a creative, hands-on role and the ideal candidate will not only demonstrate a passion for emerging digital trends, but also for making a global impact and helping vulnerable children, families and communities shape a brighter future.
As an integral part of the communications team, the Specialist will lead and implement a digital and social engagement strategy to raise awareness and public action in our fundraising, partnerships and programmatic initiatives. Working closely with key stakeholders across the Canadian team and internationally, your ability to collaborate and take initiative to create compelling stories and content will be key to your success.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Digital and Social Engagement Specialist will be a key team member in helping drive the communications objectives that support the strategy and impact of SOS Children’s Villages Canada (SOS Canada).
