Know our team

The Communications Unit is Nutrition International’s centre for global communications excellence. It is responsible for the delivery and implementation of the strategic vision for corporate communications and branding across the organization. The Unit also champions quality and opportunity globally, working closely with regional teams. Communications Unit members can be found in Nutrition International’s Headquarters in Ottawa, Canada, as well as within our Regional offices in Africa and Asia.

About you

Are you passionate about telling stories? Do you think in storyboards, outlines and shooting scripts? Do you want to create content with a purpose? If you do then this job might be for you. Nutrition International is looking for a Manager, Storytelling to lead our new Global Storytelling Initiative, a two-year project that will see the development of videos, blogs, interviews and other content that ‘tells the story’ of our work in an engaging way.

About the role

In this role you will:

  • Develop and deliver a global storytelling strategy that outlines the framework behind narrative-driven content for the organization, as well as processes for how the plan will be enacted at the country, regional and global level.
  • Create and execute a two-year content production plan that aligns with budgets and contributes to raising Nutrition International’s profile.
  • Manage the cultivation of story opportunities on an ongoing basis, determining the best format(s) to tell those stories, and work alongside the Manager, Corporate Communications to assign production to members of the global communications team, or contractors, as appropriate.
  • Manage video production from end to end.

This is a 24-month contract position and is temporarily remote currently.
