If you are a community organizer with a proven track record creating change towards racial justice and settler-Indigenous reconciliation, please apply to be our Network Engagement Manager.

Who are we looking for?

A dynamic mobilizer with a commitment to social justice who can generate high levels of engagement across our network and the nonprofit sector. Who are we?

Ontario’s nonprofit sector is diverse, with over 58,000 organizations in communities across the province. The Ontario Nonprofit Network (ONN) plays a unique role: developing and analyzing public policy, connecting nonprofits across the province with engagement opportunities and advocacy campaigns, and channeling collective expertise to find solutions to issues facing the sector. ONN works alongside its provincial network to create innovative ways to strengthen the nonprofit sector. ONN is committed to advancing racial justice in the nonprofit sector and encouraging nonprofits to play an active role in truth and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.

  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills.
  • A persuasive connector with the skills to create new links to nonprofit leaders, keep issues top of mind, and secure and maintain engagement from diverse nonprofit stakeholders.
  • Commitment to anti-racism, anti-oppression, equity, and empowerment of historically disadvantaged groups.
  • Knowledge of issues and challenges related to anti-Black racism and other forms of oppression and exclusion in the Ontario context (particularly as it relates to workplaces), and/or
