ABOUT THE ROLE
The Prospect Research Officer and Fundraising Assistant plays a key role in identifying potential donors and increasing their financial support to the mission of SOS Children’s Villages Canada. You will provide practical, ongoing support to the Leadership Giving Team, lead our prospect research, and maintain database and fundraising information systems.
Reporting to the Director of Leadership Giving, the Prospect Research Officer and Fundraising Assistant’s key success indicator will be the growth and management of our donor pipeline and overall support to Leadership Giving fundraisers working with individual and corporate donors across Canada.
You will perform proactive and ongoing research to identify potential donors and maintain data on existing donors. You will contribute to the refinement of existing prospect management systems and utilization of RENXT by the team. The role will contribute to the implementation and promotion of Peer to Peer (P2P) digital fundraising platforms and support the fundraising team to steward and engage individual donors and corporate partners.
The ideal candidate for this role is a systems-focused, enthusiastic team player.
