Request for Proposal: Needs Assessment and Community Building for Educator and Youth Leadership Partnerships

Summary of the Requirement

Plan Canada is seeking the services of an agency or consultant to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment and environmental scan. The goal is to undercover best practices and identify opportunities for youth leadership programmatic partnerships with educators, schools and youth-serving organizations throughout Turtle Island (Canada). This initiative supports two priorities of the organization:

Expanding Plan Canada’s youth base: Through community partnerships, with specific focus on engaging educators and youth-serving organizations working with youth aged 10-17yrs. 

Creating of an Online Community of Practice: To enable connection and knowledge exchange between educators and youth-serving organizations offering youth leadership programming. The community aims to engage 1,000 educators as members over the course of 24-months, ultimately becoming a self-sustaining, member-run platform.
