Senior Manager, Global Health

The Indigenous Local & Global Health Office in the Cumming School of Medicine (CSM) at the University of Calgary is currently seeking a full-time, senior manager to support our global health projects and programs.

In brief:
The Senior Manager, Global Health, will join and lead a dynamic and passionate team who support core global partnerships and activities involving CSM faculty, trainees, students, and staff. This role involves management and oversight of all programs, projects, and activities within the global health (GH) portfolio.  The manager is responsible for oversight of operations including meeting and reporting on desired metrics, ensuring quality programs, maintaining on track, on time and on budget reports, monitoring finances and financial processes, and supervising and supporting GH staff.

CSM GH has a strategic plan and exciting programs and initiatives which prioritize ethical, reciprocal, and balanced partnership activities including co-design/co-innovation, co-learning, and co-research. Our strategy builds on strong and sustained core partnerships with institutions in low and middle income countries (including Asia, Africa and South/Central America).  We promote a global health lens that values bilateral programming and supports decolonized, collaborative learning and initiatives both in Canada and in the international context.
