As the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign begins this week, we join the global call for solidarity to end violence against women and girls everywhere.
This year’s Open the Door campaign asks people, institutions, and systems to recognize the hidden suffering of women and girls subjected to violence, to respond to them with empathy and to act for change. It also rallies the world to affirm that there is #NoExcuse for online abuse, sharing explainers on digital violence against women and girls and FAQs on how technology can enable harm.
CanWaCH and the Inter-Agency Working Group (IAWG) on Reproductive Health in Crises have prepared an English and French social media toolkit for our members to use on their social media channels.
