Preventing and Addressing Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Fragile and Conflict Settings

In this brief, members of the CanWaCH Gender Equality Working Group (GEWG) highlight the urgency
and unique challenges of preventing and addressing sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in fragile and humanitarian settings. Whether due to conflicts, economic and political instability, public health emergencies, or climate-induced disasters, fragile contexts significantly increase the risk of SGBV.
