Global Affairs Canada Maternal, newborn and child health data set

This data set provides statistics on Global Affairs Canada’s work in a simple, database-friendly format. It is a subset of the Statistical Report on International Assistance, and it makes it easier to break down the former Canadian International Development Agency’s (CIDA’s) aid expenditures on maternal, newborn and child health and examine the information from different points of view. For example, users can download the data files, and import them into their favourite analysis software to create dynamic tables and charts.

This data set provides information about maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) project expenditures, detailed by country, sector, commitment, project title, multilateral G8 methodology, thematic priority, MNCH code, MNCH percentage, Muskoka paths, and MNCH amount spent.

It includes information from both the baseline projects ($1.75 billion) and the Muskoka commitments ($1.1 billion) for the period from 2010-2011 to 2014-2015, the most recently available public data.

This data set is updated on a regular basis (date included in the file).
