Founded in Montreal in 2011, the Fondation Mères du Monde en Santé (MMS) is the only non-profit organization in Canada that works to improve maternal health in Africa. With the aim of contributing to the global effort to eradicate obstetric fistula, MMS arranges two surgical missions per year, supports the on-site prevention teams, and runs training programs for the local staff.
