The Institute for Global Health at BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital + Health Centre (IGH@BCCWH) is dedicated to improving the lives and health of children, women and their families, particularly the most vulnerable, around the world through research, education and partnerships. 

IGH@BCCWH is a leadership and coordinating body for global health activities at BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital, one of the world’s foremost children’s and women’s health-care academic hospitals.   We have a rich history in global health research and strengthening local and international capacity through the exchange of knowledge, skills, and appropriate innovations. We are committed to health equity and implementing sustainable, effective interventions for improving the health of communities, integrated with advocacy, education, and capacity building efforts in and global contexts.
