Maternal and Infant Health Canada (MIH Can) focuses on improving the health of communities in India, with an emphasis on children and mothers, helping meet the ‘upstream’ and ‘downstream’ needs.

MIHCan envisions a world in which all women and children enjoy good health, regardless of their location, culture, economic status, skin color and so forth. Our focus on equity encompasses the social AND clinical determinants of health. We work within a public health framework, guided by principles of social justice and community development. Education/training, research and innovation are our pillars.
