Description

Anjuman-E-Talimul Muslimeen (ATM) is a non-profit organization that aims to uplift the underprivileged and impoverished by providing children with opportunities to access education and healthcare and to help them secure a better life. In 1990 ATM set up the Anjuman “Residential School Complex” Malekpore Dist. Surat. Over 90% of its students are provided free education, loading and boarding, uniforms, books, notebooks, medicine etc. This project supports the operation of the school, its affiliated hostel for boys, and healthcare services for one year; building on the support of IDRF since 2012.

This funding will enable students to actively participate in classes and extra-curricular activities in a safe environment with qualified staff. Hostel rehabilitation and upgrades, education tools and resources, health and hygiene services and products, lodging costs (e.g., food, Boarding) and staff salaries will be supported by this initiative. It will also support provision of medical treatment for the student borders by funding medical camps at the hostel where general checkups and specialist care will be provided by ATM’s medical team.
