Description

More than 15.4 million people – 66% of Syria’s population – are food insecure (HNO 2024). Moreover, an additional 2.6 million are at risk of sliding into food insecurity in the future should conditions not change, a problem compounded by high levels of inflation. Therefore, ADRA through this project will address these critical food security needs by providing value e-vouchers to highly vulnerable households in earthquake-affected areas that are redeemable for specific food commodities. Significant support has already been provided to areas affected by the February 2023 earthquakes.
