Description


This project aims to reduce impunity for violence against women in elections in Zimbabwe (VAWIE) during the 2018 elections and beyond through a comprehensive approach to: (1) reliably monitor and document violence against women in elections; (2) offer rapid response assistance and resilience for its survivors; and (3) activate justice sector responses by enabling prosecution of violence against women in elections crimes and reporting on VAWIE human rights violations.

Expected Results
