Description

The overall goal of the Christian Reform World Relief Committee (CRWRC) of Canada project is to equip and empower poor communities in Bangladesh, Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania to improve the food security, health and economic well-being of their members through community level cooperation. This project covers a six-month transitional period to ensure progress under the previous 2007-2010 program is sustained in these four countries. The project focus is on training programs in basic education, microenterprise and income generation, sustainable agriculture methods and community health so that vulnerable groups sustain their livelihoods by improving their food security, income, literacy and health and by strengthening local partner organizations and community groups.
