Description


This project will improve household food security for 1,855 households (12,985 individuals) through the distribution of food vouchers and emergency food packages. This project will be implemented in various phases taking place before, during and after Ramadan. The first phase of this project will take place before Ramadan and will provide 600 households with emergency food packages supporting households for one month. The second phase of this project will take place during Ramadan and will provide 655 households with emergency food packages containing various items outlined in the proposal. In the final phase of this project taking place after Ramadan, an additional 600 households will receive one food-restricted voucher. Each voucher will support a single household for one month and can be redeemed at shopping local markets.
