Description

In line with the Jordan Response Plan and the national priorities of the Jordanian Government, this project intends to install solar water heating systems and water-saving devices for vulnerable Palestinian refugee and Jordanian households. This system will provide access to environmentally-friendly heating and water systems and reduce utility bill burdens. The system would ensure sustainable and clean access to water. This would fulfill the basic needs of HHs with regards to water and heating and also would ease the burden of utility costs, allowing funds to be spent on other essential needs. This component will be coupled with awareness sessions on water conservation, the systems themselves also contribute to avoiding water wastage. This project idea is based on existing approaches in-country and priorities as above and of the MoE.
