IR Canada’s project, through IR Somalia as an implementing agency, will provide primary health care services to 69,120 vulnerable individuals (35,000 women; 26,140 men; 4,180 girls and 3,800 boys) in Balcad, Daynille and Bondhere districts through support for a health facility constructed and run by Islamic Relief. The project will also support the current school in Balcad district constructed by Islamic Relief in 2015 through training and providing incentives to 17 teachers, along with the delivery of teaching materials that can assist learning for 750 students (338 girls and 412 boys).
