Description


According to Liberia’s most recent demographic health survey, the maternal mortality rate is 1,072 per 100,000 while the neonatal mortality rate is at 26 per 1,000 . Partners In Health is responding to this health crisis by collaborating with the Maryland County health team through the following interventions:• Delivering essential services for maternal and child health, including antenatal services, facility-based deliveries and newborn and critical care• Treating children for malnutrition• Offering training and mentorship to local health professionals• Procuring essential equipment and supplies
