Description

This projects supports ICASO’s (International Council of AIDS Service Organizations) efforts whose goal are to increase the inclusion, input, involvement and leadership of community organizations and key populations (including women and youth) in decisions on HIV and AIDS policy and programs at the national, regional and global levels. The project bolsters ICASO’s Strategic Plan 2012-2016, which works toward the following results: community leadership and advocacy for a comprehensive HIV response; community engagement on key and emerging HIV policy issues; strong community systems for health and rights; and a strong global community HIV movement. ICASO envisions an end to the HIV pandemic through universal access to prevention, treatment, care, and support within a human rights framework.
