Description

Families join a self-help group, a small group of like-minded women in her village who come together to learn new skills, support each other in starting small businesses, and solve challenges faced by their community. These women will develop a plan, borrow a small amount of money, and get to work making their dreams a reality.

These are basic but critical opportunities that will help families create long-term, self-sustaining change. Once they have established their businesses and are earning a regular income, they can return the loan to their self-help group, which will provide another family with a similar opportunity in homes, health and growing more food.
