This project aims to support local civil society and the Colombian State with the implementation and monitoring of transitional justice. The project contributes to building confidence of the Colombian society, particularly women and girls, in the transitional justice system and contributes to the reaffirmation of the rule of law.

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) increased confidence and participation of civil society, in particular women and girls and justice stakeholders to develop and implement gender-sensitive transitional justice mechanisms; (2) emblematic cases of international crimes committed against vulnerable groups, and in particular women and girls, are documented and brought to court by human rights lawyers.
