Description

Resilient and Strong is a four-year (2025-2029), 17.9m (GAC: 17m; AKFC: 0.9m) project that will increase the livelihoods and economic resilience of Afghans by enabling women’s access to TVET in the health and ECD sectors in Afghanistan. The project will work with relevant TVET institutions, employers, private sector, community stakeholders and religious leaders to improve Afghans’ economic resilience. The project will support access to training opportunities while also working to reduce barriers to women’s employment and engagement in livelihoods activities. Resilient and Strong expects to reach approximately 37,136 (92% women) direct and indirect beneficiaries in Afghanistan. The project will be implemented by AKFC together with AKF Afghanistan.
